Hey Yuma! I left in '83, joined the Navy.. Changed my name to my step-fathers (Goeglein) in '86. Saw the world, well a good chunk of it any way. I retired from the Nav in 2003. Went home to get my life straight, then moved to Portland to work at Intel. I'd like to hear from any of my old classmates, friends and the like. Say from '79 through '84 or so... |

I lived in Yuma in the early '50's while going to C.U.Boulder.Worked for my dad Howard Moore who managed the Bartlett elevator. Liked to eat at The Golden Pheasant. What ever happened to Shirly Bloch? We used to dance up a storm "kicking it around" at the Saturday night dances at the American Legion (VFW ?) club. Fred Moore 9615 Richmond Dr.

Hi..I lived and went to H.S. in Yuma 1962/3. We lived in the Lett Hotel. Was on a visit to see your wonderful town last year and the old High School torn down ..so sad. Visited the cemetery for my family of years ago..Velma and Bud Gurss, Myrtle Hudson, Viola and George Littel. Visited Bette Weickum still living and beautiful. Say Hi to my cousin if you would. Hope to get back this summer. God Bless you people in Yuma, Eckley, Joes, and Kirk where I also lived and went to school. |

On Dec. 12th, 2007, my 80th birthday, my son Phillip Herron sent me photos of the web site, of Yuma's Main St. covered in snow. My Mother's journal tells that on Dec.6, 1927 the temperature dropped to zero and snow blew. Dec.7, 1927, 14 degrees below zero. I sure did enjoy the pictures as my heart will always be in Yuma. |
